You Can Fight all Your Monsoon Hair Trouble with this One Cult Product

product John Frieda Frizz Ease Original 6 Effects Serum

I would have seriously beautiful hair if only the weather listened to me. But monsoon’s here and the humidity levels are going through the roof. So, my hair is somewhere between a puffed up cotton candy and a broom. Kinda like Zooey Deschanel right here…

As soon as I spotted the award winning cult hair care product John Frieda Frizz Ease Original 6 Effects Serum on the Health & Glow app, I hit add to cart. Woo! Hoo! My head went, it’s finally available in India. I no longer need to trawl international online stores to get a deal nor burst my bank balance or bribe a friend travelling abroad to carry few bottles of this miracle hair potion.

The serum commits to eliminate frizz, protect strands from humidity and thermal styling tools, smooth out roughness, hydrate the strands and keep hair manageable through the day. It was with this promise, Frizz Ease Original Serum was launched in 1990’s and till date, it hasn’t disappointed the stylists, and users alike. Kerry Warn, whom Nicole Kidman calls “the best hairdresser in the world” is a fan. “I love my Original Serum – it allows me to create long-lasting, beautiful styles for nearly every hair type,” he says of Frizz Ease Original Serum.

I totally agree with him. It has seaweed extracts and silicone derivative, which gives the serum a thick slippery feel. You need just a drop really (that’s about a pump) of the product to handle medium length hair like mine. If you have long hair you can use a little extra.

I use it on my very wet hair as it dilutes product a bit and spreads easily through my strands. I take a drop and rub it between my palms before applying it through the mid length till the tip of my hair. I run it evenly through the strands. When I apply it this way, it works best at taming and hydrating my coarse, dry hair. I smooth the little leftover serum (mind you a little goes a long way in this) in my palms and smooth it over the top of my hair to flatten any cowlicks and baby hairs.

Most of the time I let my hair air dry, and I love the way my wavy hair gets its natural shape and stays that way through the day. When I have some time I use the blow dryer to get silken straight strands. What I like best about using this serum is that I don’t need to load my hair with a separate heat protector. Frizz Ease Original Serum does the work brilliantly.

Not only does this prevent frizz and humidity from spoiling my hair, it has sunscreen that protects from the UV rays and prevents coloured hair from fading; which totally suits my needs. I love the lingering floral fragrance that it gives my hair till the next wash. Well, one secret! This is not just my monsoon hair rescue, I actually use it through the year and love every sticky drop of it.
