Decoding Deepika's Wedding Look

As the power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh jetted off to Lake Como in Italy for a fairytale wedding, their fans around the world waited with baited breaths for a peek into the nuptials. After keeping the two-day wedding extravaganza under wraps, the couple finally released pictures from the two wedding ceremonies that took place on November 14 and 15, and these proved every bit worth the wait.

Deepika made a ravishing bride, going the traditional way for both the Konkani and Sindhi wedding ceremonies. Radiant, smiling and coy at the same time, she was a like walking dream for every girl out there. We decode Deepika’s wedding looks for the brides-to-be:

Konkani Wedding
For her Konkani wedding ceremony held on November 14, Deepika kept her look traditional and uber elegant with red-gold saree by ace designer Sabyasachi and dolled up in heavy jewellery said to be from the family heirloom. Balancing out all the glitz of the wedding ensemble was subtle, beautifully done makeup that accentuated her eyes and cheekbones, balanced out with a soft brown tone on the lips and a matching bindi.

Sindhi Wedding
For the Sindhi wedding rituals on Day 2 of the wedding festivities, Deepika literally painted the town red with her rich red and gold wedding ensemble, a voluminous maang tika, nath, and the traditional chuda-kaleere combination. Though the coy bride isn’t giving away much of her looks in the photo of wedding ceremony shared by the couple, we can spot a hint of smokey effect of her eyes, a soft blush on the cheeks, a subtle red on the lips and a tiny bindi.
