3 DIY Blackhead Removal Scrubs That Take Only Minutes To Make

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who’s the fairest of… Eeek!
😱And, you spot blackheads😱

Now that we all are shut inside, working from home and have lost track of the days, it is okay to have such distractions like frequenting the mirror more, admiring yourself on the phone or taking selfies a bit more often. Yet those little guilty-pleasures can be damaging to your soul if you spot blackheads. The good thing is, now you have all the time to banish them, that too, using DIY methods. There are many homemade scrubs that are useful for blackhead removal. These three are our favourites because they are super easy to make and use. Try them today and see the difference yourself.

Honey & Raw Milk Scrub:

You’ll need:
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of raw milk

Mix the ingredients, make a smooth paste. Apply it and let the paste dry for 30 minutes.
Once dried, peel it off gently and wash your face.

Lemon-Salt Scrub:

You’ll need:
1 tablespoon of sea salt
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of water

Mix all the ingredients together. Apply the scrub directly on the areas where you have spotted blackheads and rub gently for 2 to 3 minutes. Wash off.

Egg White & Lemon Juice:

You’ll Need:
1 egg white
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of water

Separate the yolk from the egg whites and keep it aside in a bowl. Now beat the egg white until it’s frothy. Add lemon juice and water and mix it into a paste. Apply on the areas affected with blackheads. Use more than one quotes of the paste if necessary. Let it dry and wash it off with plain water.

It is important to take care of yourself and your skin even when we are at home. Whether indoor or outdoor, our skin works in the normal way it always does. So extra secretion of sebum, gathering dirt and oil resulting in clogged pores and eventually, blackheads, is still going to haunt you if you skip your regular skin care routine. Therefore, use the time wisely and add these simple DIY blackhead removal methods to your skin care regime to keep up the glow.
